A commercial redesign project which emphasizes linear connections to distinguish public and private zones of a book store in Fort Erie, Ontario.

The redesign aims to keep the integrity of the existing shell while creating a new experience through reimagining materiality and spatial alignments.

The existing building, approximately 100 years old, is revived with a modern but fun play on neutrals to house a cozy book store and give the building a new purpose.
